“Never Again?” seeks to educate others on the horrors and consequences of anti-Semitism. The film follows the journey of a Holocaust Survivor and former radical Islamist as they seek to leave behind a legacy of love over hate.
As anti-Semitism rears its ugly head, we will not stand idly by. Instead, we will take a stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters, and we will fight back.
We fight not with the power of our fists, but with the power of our voices, putting words to action, and ensuring this past never repeats itself.
Since 2006, Christians United for Israel, now with 8 million members, has been resolutely committed to confronting indifference and combatting anti-Semitism in all its forms, wherever it is found.
Now we will combat anti-Semitism by teaming up with a cadre of leading filmmakers to produce a feature length documentary film aimed at combating the rising tide of anti-Semitism sweeping across the country.
The film, “Never Again?” will hit 800 theaters nationwide for a two-night special event in mid-October. “Never Again?” seeks to educate a new generation about the history and horrors of anti-Semitism. From Dr. Deborah Lipstat to Ambassador Michael Oren to Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, this film gets to the heart of the issue and confronts the consequences of anti-Semitism. Viewers will be guided on this journey by a Holocaust Survivor and a former radical Islamist and will learn about the history of anti-Semitism and come to understand why all of us, regardless of faith or political persuasion, have a holy and solemn responsibility to keep the promise of NEVER AGAIN!
Through this groundbreaking film, viewers will be challenged with the question: in the face of anti-Semitism today, will you remain silent, or will you act in defense of our Jewish friends and neighbors?
Most Christians remained heartbreakingly silent while their Jewish brothers and sisters were being murdered. A German Lutheran pastor who lived during the Holocaust wrote,
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
After the horrifying events of the Holocaust, Christians said, “Never Again.”
Today, anti-Semitism is rising at levels not seen in decades. In 2018, assaults against Jews doubled, and we saw the deadliest attack against Jews on US soil ever. In 2019, our Jewish neighbors suffered even more murderous attacks. This is terrorism, plain and simple. As a new decade begins, we know that oftentimes anti-Semitism hides in plain sight—disguised as “anti-Zionism” with anti-Semites referring to themselves as merely “anti-Israel.” Deceptive terms such as these are a thin veil for the age-old hatred of Jews—anti-Semitism.
Yet this time, Christians are not silent in the face of evil.
This time, over 8 million Christians are standing by the promise “Never Again” and rallying to action with the oath, “For Zion’s sake, we will not rest or be silent.”
